Hello windows users,

I have installing and configure a new WINDOWS SERVICE UPDATE SERVER in our local LAN, this new server will providing a new update windows for all workstation connected. WSUS server is a replica for Microsoft update at Microsoft server, the different is this server is in our local LAN.

Ok here’s the clue. In every windows there is a feature called “windows update”, and need internet access to update directly to Microsoft server. For every user who has internet access it won’t be a problem, they can configure and update windows as much as they like. For user who doesn’t has internet connection it will be a big problem. With wsus installed, every user can download and update windows automatically through our local network. J

In other words we create Microsoft update server and let user update their windows in our server which didn’t need internet connection. Let’s see the manual attached for installation and how it’s works.

I hope with full update windows in each computer client, we can prevent some virus attack caused by vulnerabilities system & security issue.
